Celebrating Client Successes and Planning for The Next Quarter

Last Thursday, we hosted our quarterly Growth Club with some of our amazing clients to celebrate their successes over the last 3-months and we were joined by a special guest speaker, Paul Ryan from Improve on You. Paul delivered an amazing session to our clients, teaching them all about first impressions.

ActionCOACH Portsmouth & Chichester’s Growth Club is an innovative and dynamic networking event designed to propel businesses towards unprecedented success. Rooted in the proven strategies of ActionCOACH, a leading global business coaching firm, the Growth Club offers a collaborative environment where entrepreneurs and business leaders come together to share insights, strategies and challenges. 

All of the attendees were brought together for a day of learning with our Hampshire-based coaches as well as with one another, sharing invaluable knowledge to help create strategies that they can all implement into their businesses. Growth Club provides additional resources to owners and managers, driving their businesses to the next level by unlocking new potentials and giving them the drive for continuous improvement. 

Celebrating Client Wins from the Last 3 Months

We started the day with an introduction from our director and coach Steve Mullins who encouraged all of the businesses in the room to share their last 3 months’ successes with a prize incentive to the business who had the most amazing update to share. Around the room we had owners sharing their improvements. From streamlined operations that have helped a business to run smoother to Steve Squires from Southsea Driving Academy sharing that he has reached his goal of reducing his working week to 4 days from 6.

The room decided to have two winners. Meridian Medical, who have recently been awarded the ‘Best Employer’ award and Treasure Gymnastics who have had a 100% lead convert. A massive congratulations to all of our clients and guests who have worked hard alongside our coaches to reach their business goals. 

Improve On You

After Steve’s introduction, we welcomed Paul Ryan from Improve On You. Paul quickly went into his session starting with asking the group ‘who public speaks’ with a lot of room saying they do not. However, it was quickly highlighted that all of them do, pretty much every day. Many people do not realise that public speaking includes speaking to their teams in meetings and presenting to clients selling their services. A survey was conducted in 1980 in which Paul mentioned that says that public speaking is in the no.1 spot, compared to walking into a room full of strangers at no.2 and death at no.3. 

The whole room was super engaged with Paul and his Improve On You session with many commenting on how much they learnt after his session at Lunch. In the 3-hour session, our guests learnt tactics to help overcome stage fright, how to confidently present themselves when meeting someone new, how to create trust and how to present themselves professionally on Zoom – Everyone was able to take something away from Paul’s amazing lesson.

90-Day Planning for the First Quarter of 2024

After the hot lunch that we provide for our attendees, we jumped right back into GrowthCLUB. Sarah Williams, one of our amazing coaches, presented to the room and introduced 90 planning.
